Solvang Book Company
The
upstairs used book department has offerings in literature, the arts,
and history. We work hard to have a nice selection of children's books.
Because we are located in a town with a Danish heritage, we have books
about all the Scandinavian countries and books in the various Scandinavian
languages. Our stock is not catalogued
so you really must come visit.
Scandinavian Books
Solvang was founded by Danish immigrants in 1911. There is still a significant Danish population and many visitors come from Denmark to visit the 'Danish Capital of California.' The Book Loft carries a large selection of Scandinavian Books in English and foreign languages.
